Adults
ROME has several programs that serve adults at various stages of their educational journeys. ROME's belief that education is a life-long pursuit is reflected throughout adult programming. These programs include English as a Second Language (ESL) for New Americans, High School Diploma, General Education Development (GED), as well as job readiness.
English as a Second Language
ROME provides ESL classes to English language learners from diverse linguistic and cultural backgrounds. The ESL classes cater to individuals with different language levels and goals.
High School Diploma
ROME offers an alternative high school diploma program through which nontraditional students can earn their diploma. These courses employ a hybrid in-person and online format to meet the needs of all learners.
General Education Development
ROME provides GED preparation for individuals with different educational backgrounds. ROME's GED tutoring and support services help open doors to new job opportunities and further education for clients.
Job Readiness
ROME facilitates job readiness workshops to prepare New Americans and others for the American workplace. These workshops emphasize the development of a skillset for successful employment.
